Tuscan
travertine has unique characteristics and a long history. Documents from 1597
speak of travertine extracted from a quarry called “noceto” in Rapolano, which
was used to face the Provenzano church in
Siena. Amongst many others, we have supplied stone to build the Central Station
in Milan and United Nations building in
Geneva. The decisive vein pattern and the colour tones are different from any other material. In particular the high
content of ferrous oxide make it very compact and resistant. We supply blocks, slabs and tiles cut in
different sizes. We can also apply a variety of finishes and manufacturing.
